The first ‘Gadonas’ fur workshop was opened in Siatista in 1974 by Athanasios Gkantonas at a young age.

After ten successful years in the industry, he moves to Athens together with his wife who is a great personal help to him.

In 1984 he opens up his first retail and wholesale fur outlet, while at the same time setting up a partnership in Italy in the leather garment industry. In 1990, continuing its success, ‘Gadonas’ is one of the most recognized companies in the wholesale leather garment industry and has exclusive rights to the ‘Massimo’ label in Greece.

In 1998 Mr Gadonas’s daughter joins the firm, to add a modern touch, while maintaining the high quality of its products.

In 2000 the retail outlet is opened in ‘Mitropoleos Square’ where customers can easily browse through a wide variety of high quality garments. Some of the major Italian fashion houses in the leather garment industry can be found in the store as well as the latest fashions in fur.

Dedicated to its customers, ‘Gadonas’ will continue to follow the latest trends in the fur and leather garment industry in the 21st century.
